End The Fed!

   A month or so ago Zach and I drove down to the Federal Reserve Bank in Houston to protest our 1st amendment rights. It was very nice to be able to practice these rights. I am so grateful to be an American. I have been politically active since I turned 19. I continue to try to keep myself informed politically and economically. To get to my point I will just say that we live under a corrupted Banking system. It is a huge illusion that could be destroyed by like minded individuals. I know protesting might seem silly to some and might not accomplish much at this time. I did have a chance to meet some wonderful people. There is a difference in the people down at the Fed compared to some of the OWS groups.  I say this because the people down at the Fed are not protesting free education, or free health car or free anything.. We want accountability of all this money printing out of thin air and there isn't any.
The problem with a lot of the young people these days is that we live in a self gratification type of society. WE expect the government to save us, help us and even feed us when we can't do it ourselves(I'm guilty of this as well). If we had a free market and true capitalism the types of things we are seeing go on wouldn't occur. The free market would eventually correct itself. It would be painful the next 5 years for middle class and poor Americans. If they continue down the road they are on it will eventually self destruct.. This is not fiction but history!

 Since September  there has been a movement called Occupy Wall St. Where protesters are camping out on Wall st. There are other numerous movements going on as well down in New York and all over the Country . Many people are unemployed, wondering why they can't pay there everyday expenses at the same time they have their i-phones ect.  I don't agree with most  of the people down there occupying wall st. but I do agree with some.  Unfortunatly a lot of people are fed up and even though they might not understand they are still there protesting and I can respect that. I will include some video's in this post to give you a better idea of where I stand...

I'm educated enough to this point to know that wall street is just a stem or branch from the big old tree that it is owned by(Goldman and the likes) Once the people learn that the Federal Reserve Bank is nothing but a corporation(or operates similar to one, but worse) that there is nothing Federal about it(meaning it is not part of our government) nor is it close to any type of Reserve, then we will see the world change. I can't stress enough to get your money out of paper... NOW:)

P.s. I forgot my camera this day(of all the days)! I was so bummed but I had the cell phone that did an okay job.Sorry the video's are bad the battery was dying at the wrong time! You will notice too that we are not protesting on the side walk. The police kept saying that where we were protesting at was dangerous. The police refused to let us stand on the side walk in front of the reserve. We had to stand on the dirt with on coming traffic coming right at us... If people only knew Liberty and freedom are not free but something we must FIGHT for!

It was nice being part of something bigger than myself.. Truly inspirational for Zach and I who decided to ditch the system ways a few years ago. A New Dress!

and I have had my eyes on  this new dress for over a year now.  I want to get our family pictures done before Christmas this year. We usually do our Family Portraits in May but this year not having our  regular Family photographer has made me a little reluctant to get ready for pictures.

I'm hoping to get the pics done when I get matching clothes  for all the boys.. As a photographer for many years outfits are key to good pictures. So I can't pass up the sale price and I know making the dress myself might cost more especially with the time I would have to put in and not to mention the material would be costly..


Now I just need a good pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and we will be all set :)

Mom and Dad visit Texas!

  Two weekends ago we had an unexpected surprise with Mom coming out with Dad to Texas. I call my in-laws Mom and Dad so just to not be mistaken for my parents.  Mom was supposed to stay home but she was able to help Dad bring their first load from Hesperia to Texas.  If all goes as planned Mom and Dad should be officially living in Texas by the end of this month.
  We try to have a family dinner together on Sat or Sunday. We ended up taking Mom and Dad out to a Mexican Restaurant here in Madisonville on Saturday. It is the closet city being about 20 miles from Bedias, it has only a few places to eat. I have wanted to eat there since we moved here and we finally got to! We get to eat out about 2x a year so it was a really nice treat. I told Zach, "eating out never sounded so fun".  The food was killer and I had a strawberry margarita that was to die for!

We set up a Tiki circle at dark. It is fun to play with my aperture settings at night. I needed my tripod to get a good focused shot. This is the best one I got without using a flash. The Tiki's keep it well lite outside and it voids all the bugs!

 We also got together on Sunday because Mom and Dad planned on leaving the next day.  I should of taken pics of the food it was so good. We had Paulette and Michael's famous Kabobs and I prepared Tali-pa with fresh basil from my garden. Tiff made the rice to go with the Tali-pa and some mac and cheese for the kids. She gave me a tip that you can put Tuna in mac and cheese. I will have to try that one night when I'm wanting an easy meal for the kids. All in all it was delicious!

 Well for all you folks wondering if we closed on the new house yet, we haven't! Unfortunatly the previous owner is being a little stubborn with the paper work. That means that if he doesn't sign this could drag out for years.. The house will eventually go to the County and then be placed on auction. That is okay because most houses out here sell for less then 5,000. Hopefully he will sign but I'm keeping my eyes peeled for some other deals. Our goals are big and we are willing to wait and continue to go without until our goals are reached..

I will keep the updates coming as long as my I-mac shows me a little love :)
