I'm getting organized!

Well I really feel I am making progress home full time. I still have an endeavor ahead of me to get more organized. My time these days is mostly spent immersing myself in home schooling and cooking. So it is tempting to want to organize photo's, design in photo-shop, play guitar, read on how to make my Blogging the bomb, I have to limit myself to these pleasures. I tend to sign up for more then I can handle so even though it is a slow go, I'm getting there every step at a time. It has only been a year since I updated my home school blog but hey it is a start!

I lost my second tooth!

Happy Boy Ayden lost another tooth!
This time is pretty cool though because it is one of his front teeth.
Thayne lost his front tooth around this time last year. They are tied with both missing 2 teeth now!

Chain-Saw action!

We got a new chain-saw a few weeks ago! One of the many needed things living on 3 acres of land. We have mostly Oak Tree's on our property. Right now we have about 12 huge dead ones that we are cutting down as I write. We plan on using the wood in our new & used Parlor Stove and hopefully selling the rest of the wood.

School/Craft Room

Before the School Room

The kids and I started up school August 1 . We started out by doing our school routine on the kitchen table. This seemed to be a hassle at lunch time and snack time. I decided to turn one of the bedrooms into a School/Craft room. The room was going to be our office but we put our computers and stuff in our bedroom to make the school room work. I'm so glad we did it. My friend Jen haas a great craft room. I hope to get ours to that organization level one day. I had to make due with what I had for furniture. I'm slowly picking up things up on craigslist. I hope to get some more book cases and also get the Jen inspired Ikea furniture!
Thayne drawing from the book. Where The Wild Things Are.
Ayden finished with his inspired drawing.

The School/Craft Room in the making!

You will see I only have half the room photographed. The other side of the room is a poor mess and I will have to post the finished room in a few months:)

Moving to Texas!

Enjoying our new buzz cuts and a beautiful mowed yard!
This is looking out to our circular drive.
This is where my Garden will go after this oak tree is cut into firewood:)
Tiff mowing the yard for us.
Keynan, Daddy and Thayne working on the fence.

The yard before it was mowed.
Leaving our hotel in Austin, Tx the humidity was bad it kept fogging the lens.
Gas stop in Arizona where the kids were getting anxious.

It started to rain when we drove through the middle of Arizona and into New Mexico
The heat was 107 driving through the first part of Arizona .
The heat was 107 driving through the first part of Arizona the rain dropped the temp to 77 and lasted all the way until we got to our hotel in New Mexico.
This was what the clouds looked liked before it started to rain.
The boys saying goodbye to their Dad.
My Dad's truck and our trailer packed to the max.

On July 8, 2010 We embarked on our move to Texas. Zach had already been in Texas for 3 weeks. He stayed at his sister's Tiffany house(which is about 10 miles from our place) while he got the house ready for us to move in.
There are a lot of reasons we moved but mostly because we seen opportunity for ourselves. I am able to stay home full time with my boys! We were able to buy this house and it is not the Ritz or anything but it is something within our means and a place we can grow and learn from. I know I will always miss Cali and I will always miss and think of the people and places I love there.
Now that I am here I can't tell you how much people seem to care here, life is slower more graceful. It is a different world here and a different atmosphere all together. The town Bedias has a population of 432 and now 437 since we placed ourselves on the map(there is not even a local grocery store just a gas station, feed store and bank). The first day here my neighbor across the street brought over some Amish friendship bread, it was delicious! I thought to myself how sweet and nice of her and also that no one has ever done that(besides friends and ladies from church bringing me meals when I had Keynan).
Later on in that week our same neighbors from across the street came over to help mow our weeds, without the help from our neighbors and my sis and brother in law, our moving in and getting settled would of been a lot more stressful. I am grateful for all the generosity we have received. I also have met some great families here and have come to learn that having each others back is what a small town is all about.

Keynan is 2!

My little guy Keynan aka Mr. Chew, Mr K or Dookie as his brothers call him is now 2!! He turned 2 on June 17 (which he shares a Birthday with My Mom's only sister Tracy).
Of course Timberland Park in Hesperia was windy but we had fun watching Keynan open presents and play with his cousins. He sure has been a pleasure and a great blessing. Making me laugh constantly with his huge vocabulary already! I am always saying he is God's way of making me want another baby. I thought we were done but after Mr. Chew we just might have a few more!
