Okay so I finally have a second to update my blog. My nephew is over and I have let him and the twins stay up way past their bed times(since this will be there last few days here in CAli with their favorite cousin). As I was sitting down to update my blog the boys came running in my room asking if they can watch a netflix movie on the computer, of course I give in and I now have moved from my computer to my Father in laws computer. With this in affect I will only be able to post the beautiful family pictures our photographer took right before we left the Central Coast(all my other pics are waiting and ready on the i-mac).
The picture of our family that has been on my blog for the last year was taken by the same photographer. My Buddy Dustin and I went to college together and he has been taking our Family pictures since the twins were two. My kids know and love him and after a while having the same photographer comes in handy. Dustin has captured in my opinion the best family pics we have ever taken and I'm so very pleased with them. I am really picky when it comes to pics so to have me really pleased is rare. I'm so thankful for Dustin and his skills as a photographer! I also know how much money and time it takes to get to where he is, so hats off to you El Dustino!! We love you and thank you very much!!
Okay and here is the family update:
Zach: Left for Tx two weeks ago on our original move date. My Dad, Uncle and Zach left with our trailer packed full to the max. We had found out that our Pilot could tow up 5000lbs so ZAch and I were excited we didn't have to get rid of all of our stuff just some of it. Come to find out there is a maax capacity on how much the trailer could actually hold. I of course didn't know anything about trailers and obviosly learned the hard way. We packed the trailer full and went to weigh it. The trailers max capacity is 2900lbs, we had that baby packed to about 4200lbs!!!! SO we had to unpack the whole trailer, figure out what was heaviest and re-group. That is when we decided to ask my Dad to drive to Texas with the trailer. We were able to pick the heaviest stuff out of the trailer and put it in the back end of my Dad's truck. The new weigh in weight was 3100lbs and there was enough room from the axel so we were good to go. We also realized since the repairs on our house were not finished yet, that it would be best for the boys and I to stay a few more weeks here in California.
Randa: I have been here in the High Desert where I was born and have spent most of my life growing up. It is hard to say how I have been. I can say that I'm excited, happy, scared, nervous and anxious all at the same time. I have been spending some more time with family which has been nice. This is not only a change of pace but a change of our way of life, put it this way there is not even a trash service in Bedias, Tx. We will have to burn our trash!!! SO to say we are going back 50 years is an understatement. I am ready for the change and the adventure!! This is also my official full month without working. I can't say I miss it but it is different. I don't know how I had time before to facebook or to blog or to do half the things I ussually did. I have been so busy with the boys the days are starting to run together. I know once I get settled I will get much needed structure and stability and I will find some free time to do all the things I have planned:) I leave for Tx on July 9th with my Mom-law, she is coming with me to help me with the kids on the long hall of 1500 miles!(TG for her)!
Thayne: He has been doing very well with all the instability around here. He has tried to help clean the dishes and the floors while I'm cleaning. He also is very excited about Texas and is becoming more protective of Keynan everyday. Keynan doesn't know it now but he will be glad one day to know he has such a good big brother!
Ayden: For the most part he is doing well too. He has had a few incedences where I have had to take two of his video game days away. Since I only allow the boys to play one day a week, losing two days is a long wait for him. He is also very protective of Keynan telling me I need to watch him more.lol
They both miss Zach so much. They are attached to their Daddy. The boys are fortunate to have their Dad work from home because they get to spend so much more time with him. I'm trying to learn to play with them more, I played go fish with them for 3 hours the other day. I finally had to cheat to lose so I could stop playing. I can say Zach does more of the playing with them but it is fun if I can just be in the moment with them and not worry about cleaning, cooking ect!
Keynan: Turned two last week. I made cupcakes and a big cake for him and we went to a local park here and played with bubbles. He is God's way of telling me I want another little one. He sleeps through the night and is just the sweetest kid who gives blow kisses instead of crying at nap time. I know my other two are sweet too but I have been able to relax and enjoy it more because there is only one in diapers and not two.
