The Trivium and The Quadrivium

What an amazing decision Home Schooling has been for our family.  I can't help to think it is a gift for my children and myself. I have delved deep in the concentration of teaching my kids at home. I am asked all the time why I home school and if my boys will ever enter the gates of a school yard. The answer to that is, no they will not and I believe they will never have the desire to. If that happens to come up as they get older then we will address it then.  As to the question of why we home school there are many reasons. I could probably list 20 or more reasons here but that might have to be a different post.

I am an avid listener to Alex Jones radio show along with many other radio shows that you will not here about in mainstream media. At least I don't think you will hear about it. I haven't had cable television in over 10 years so don't quote me on that one. There was a great interview with Jan Irvin the other day and I just had to share it.

The most rewarding about home schooling is how much I am learning. One door opens to the mind and then it feels like the flood gates are open. We are taking The Classical Education approach but we also are open to other methods that we try to apply. I am learning about the  gaps in my own education even though my parents paid a fortune for private school up until High School.

"A life is worth living", and well I feel I must live it to my fullest.  I am not going to go over the rhetoric of what the The Trivium and The Quadrivium is but I hope that with some of the links below it will get your wheels spinning!
