Making Pancakes With Dad.

 There is a rule in the Anderson house that Mom doesn't make the pancakes. Dad cooks the pancakes way better. Zach can multi-task a huge breakfast. While he was doing his normal Sat morning cooking, I caught him letting the kids do all the fun work. You can see we are using all our own eggs from our chickens.
 The kids miss Zach a lot and they are use to having him home way more. They get good quality time though when he is home! These pancakes were particular yummy but I only had one little one! They were probably so good(bad for  you) because of them being Walmart brand!! lol  I try to avoid Walmart as much as possible :)

We had a simple Birthday this year. We spent a day before their actual Birthday at their cousins house. I baked a few cakes and it was fun and easy.  They got to open their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins.



On their actual Birthday Uncle Mark took us all out to play Laser tag. It was  a lot of fun with all 18 of us!!!  Then the kids played in the arcade for a few hours afterward.

Later in the day Zach and I took the kids out to Target to spend some of their Birthday money.  Zach and I also got some sushi for the car ride home and the kids got some quick easy snacks.

I did get the annual picture of them on their actual Birthday. It wasn't outside like I like though. By the time we got back home it was dark but we had a fun day! I can't believe they are 8!
