Mom and Dad visit Texas!

Two weekends ago we had an unexpected surprise with Mom coming out with Dad to Texas. I call my in-laws Mom and Dad so just to not be mistaken for my parents.  Mom was supposed to stay home but she was able to help Dad bring their first load from Hesperia to Texas.  If all goes as planned Mom and Dad should be officially living in Texas by the end of this month.
We try to have a family dinner together on Sat or Sunday. We ended up taking Mom and Dad out to a Mexican Restaurant here in Madisonville on Saturday. It is the closet city being about 20 miles from Bedias, it has only a few places to eat. I have wanted to eat there since we moved here and we finally got to! We get to eat out about 2x a year so it was a really nice treat. I told Zach, "eating out never sounded so fun".  The food was killer and I had a strawberry margarita that was to die for!
We set up a Tiki circle at dark. It is fun to play with my aperture settings at night. I needed my tripod to get a good focused shot. This is the best one I got without using a flash. The Tiki's keep it well lite outside and it voids all the bugs!

Zach chilling on the new hammock at Tiff's!

Truly and Keynan playing so cute together

Dad and Mom relaxing!

The blueberry cobbler I made for desert!

Hanging with Daddy on the hammock and counting the stars!!

Silas and Honey!

Thayne and cousin Alden eating their yummy cobbler.

Ayden says thumbs up to Mom's grub.

Uncle Mike and Keynan. K refused to look up.

I'm loving balls of light in pictures lately :)

Love this pic of my blue eyed handsome hunks!

I had to take about 20 shots to get one of Truly looking at the camera.. Stinker!

If only I had my tripod.. blurry for now but there is always next time.

Decided that Zach makes a good pillow, I concur!

We also got together on Sunday because Mom and Dad planned on leaving the next day.  I should of taken pics of the food it was so good. We had Paulette and Michael's famous Kabobs and I prepared Tali-pa with fresh basil from my garden. Tiff made the rice to go with the Tali-pa and some mac and cheese for the kids. She gave me a tip that you can put Tuna in mac and cheese. I will have to try that one night when I'm wanting an easy meal for the kids. All in all it was delicious!
